The Poole Bridge to Hunger Hill Flood Defence team
Led by Dorset Coast Forum, the event hosted 166 enthusiastic pupils at Baiter Park, Poole for time out of the classroom packed with over 15 fun and educational STEAM activities focused on our coastline and its wildlife including;
- Remote controlled diggers and dumper trucks with Knights Brown
- Surveyor Skills Challenge, dig and discover with Dalcour Maclaren the role of being a surveyor
- Sand particle sieving and choose your favourite type of beach sand with South West Flood & Coastal
What a great day of learning was had, working alongside BCP Council, Birds of BARI, Dorset Heaths Litter Free Dorset – Land, Coast & Sea Ocean Conservation Trust & National Trust Studland Bay
